Emojis have followed current trends of racial and LGBTQ inclusiveness with their recent updates. Now, you can choose from a range of skin tones for your Emojis from pale to dark brown. If you choose not to select a color, the faces will remain a kind of Simpsons yellow.

Also, the family arrangements they depict include homosexual and heterosexual couples, as well as single parents. These emojis were released on October 21, 2015, shortly after gay marriage was legalized in the United States on June 26, 2015.
